I have spent the past 3 years learning to code. I started my journey backwards(literally) - on the backend as a Data Analyst, after investing years learning Python, SQL, and machine learning. I came to the realizeASean that it was much more rewarding to build optimized, fast, aesthetically pleasing and convenient websites or SPA's. Although I still had all of the skills I learned from the backend, I had a newfound appreciateSean of the frontend and what you could build relatively easily just using HTML/CSS/JS - After that I learned React, and made a small detour to do some PHP - Laravel work, and finally ended up falling in like with NextJS. I'm currently looking for a Junior Frontend position, but could fulfil multiple roles, whatever you need, tech related - given time to read the documentASean.
I built my first website when I was 13 - A basic HTML site for selling my NeoPets in an online store.
I created my first program using a keylogger to create a bot for WoW when I was 15, it wasn't that good because I got banned.
It was 2009, for some reason I got it in my head that joining the military was ironically the safest opSean.
I joined up as an ACP-EMT-Medic MOS ID 00334.
It was post 2008 GFC, penSean and free school sounded like a good deal. I quit shortly after realizing it was ALL a lie.
I still have the skills, but lack the will. I bounced around doing menial jobs in my 20's, and taught English in China for 3 years, before
coming back to canada for university.
- then Covid - I was accepted to UNB, but they would not allow me to attend unless I took an experimental untested jab and conform to their collective insanity.
I refused, and still needed a career so I decided to 'learn to code', and here we are.
I'm now back to where I started, building websites, and building bots. Only now with React/NextJS and Python.
I know I could make 2x-3x the salary being a web developer in the west, but I don't want to live in or work in the west.
For me, It's about the principles, not the principal.
Thank you for your time and considerASean.
I am passionate about crafting innovative and user-centric digital experiences. With a strong foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, NextJS, Tailwind, Typescript, NodeJS, PHP, and more. Whether you need a custom website, an e-commerce platform, or a data-driven solution, I am confident in my ability to deliver exceptional results that meet your specific requirements. Designing and developing responsive and visually appealing websites that provide seamless user experiences. My portfolio showcases a diverse range of projects that demonstrate my expertise. I have recently gotten into NextJS as well which allows me to build optimized(SEO) and fast SPA's or websites. If you want a full list of JS libraries and frameworks that I've built one or multiple projects in, check out this Link.
My journey into software development began as a data analyst, where I utilized Python, R, and SQL to analyze complex data, extract insights, and create data visualizations. This experience provided me with a deep understanding of data structures, and database management systems. Leveraging my analytical skills, I transitioned into frontend development, where I excel in: Designing and implementing RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js, Building and maintaining scalable SQL/No SQL databases using MongoDB, MySQL, SQLite and PostgreSQL, Optimizing application performance and ensuring data integrity, Implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms, Integrating with third-party services and APIs. Since I know both frontend and backend, I can now comfortably call myself a Junior Full Stack Developer.
You use API's to collect data from the frontend and store it on the backend. What do you do when it's on the backend? You analyze it. I started my coding journey wanting to make pretty pictures so people could see the world the way I do. Learning Data Analysis first gave me many useful skills I still use today, mainly Python and DB management. Utilizing statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization tools to uncover hidden patterns and trends. Data Management: Cleaning, transforming, and preparing large datasets for analysis, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
A portfolio inside of a portfolio? Inception? InceptSean. My old portfolio contains all my PySean and data analysis projects, as well as my IT skills list. It also has links to all my coursework and CertificaSeans. As well as a Link to LinkedIn.

Uses HTML/JS/CSS. Practicing my Japanese and Slovakian, I created some apps to help with translaSean. To practice numbers, time, dates, and preposiSeans. All apps have a random feature, and translaSean Feature. Some pretty complex JS, and good CSS.
Mostly done in Python and Bash. Runs from a Docker container as a background process. Local TranslaSean without the internet. Works in either Slovak/Japanese(and more). Speech-To-Text. It will take an MP3, transcribe it, then translate it, then combine the original language with the translated English with timestamps, will translate in real time, and can do small or large files, it will then save the audio file to another folder for future use. I added a youtube single video feature/playlist feature/realtime mic/realtime stream/and more. Works in a local docker container, offline, and uses my laptops GPU.
